Golf Tournament Results Announced
Organizer Ron Tenove, P.Eng., calls them “144 enthusiastic and somewhat
skilled” golfers who took to the course on a beautiful day in Red Deer,
Aug. 25, for the XXVI APEGGA Golf Tournament. But no matter what level they competed
at, participants once again made the event a success.
Sponsor support during the tournament was exceptional this year. APEGGA came
forward as the Make-A-Wish Foundation Putting Contest sponsor, which raised $700
for the charity for children with life threatening illnesses.
APEGGA President Mike Smyth, P.Eng., and President-Elect Linda van Gastel, P.Eng.,
visited all golfers on the course.
