Most positions are three-year terms. Volunteers are expected to attend committee meetings regularly – approximately six to eight times per year. Meetings are normally one-half day each. Meeting locations alternate between APEGGA's Edmonton and Calgary offices and are also conducted by video conference. Occasional travel will be required to attend face-to-face meetings. Authorized travel expenses will be reimbursed. In addition to meeting attendance, volunteers will be required to commit time to certain additional duties, depending on the committee. Summaries of the committees' activities can be found in the Annual Reports section of APEGGA's website. The website also provides each committee's terms of reference.
