WISER, WISEST and AWE – Something for Everyone on
October 29

ETLC Solarium

WISEST is pleased to co-host 2 events on Wednesday, October 29 that will be of interest to our communities in Scholarship, Engineering, Science, and Technology.

Based on where our members are in their careers – the best time for their involvement in an event can be at different times in the day. We have had requests for events to be held prior to 6PM, as well as post-6PM.

On Wednesday, October 29 in the ETLC Solarium , 2nd Floor – we have something for everyone:


  1. Prior to 6PM:  SET for Success (4PM- 5:30PM)

WISEST and AWE present: SET for Success: A Professional Networking and Speaker Series on Science, Engineering, Technology, and Entrepreneurship

2. Post – 6PM: WISER Kick-Off Event (6:30PM – 8:00PM)

WISER invites you to our kick-off event: An informal evening of discussions, networking, food and fun!

WISER is a community of Early Career Researchers with backgrounds in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We meet at formal and informal events to develop relationships and regularly exchange information, support, and promote the advancement and participation of highly qualified people (masters and doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows, research associates, early career professionals, academics and more) in the STEM fields.
