The focus of this workshop is on the legal responsibilities of all the main groups involved on EPC project work, and the fuzzy boundaries where people can often get themselves, their projects, and their companies in trouble, in some cases, potentially very serious and expensive trouble.
As projects get larger, more complex with more people and organizations required to work together as an integrated team it pays to understand the responsibilities and possible liabilities of each organization. Most problems are simple enough to avoid if you have even an awareness of the potential problem.
The 2 hour workshop highlights 10 common areas of misunderstanding and potential contractual disagreement or litigation. The audience who will benefit from this entertaining and informative workshop includes anybody involved on a project, large or small; Project Managers and Engineers, Risk Evaluators, Engineering Managers, Operations and Maintenance staff, Discipline Engineers, Procurement Professionals, etc. from Owners Organizations, EPC companies, or construction and fabrication shops.
The program will include group work and interactive discussion of cases, along with any questions that participants wish to discuss about their own concerns or experiences on their own past or current projects.
