The Central Alberta APEGGA branch will host its annual student night on Wednesday, March 4 to encourage informal discussion amongst practicing Engineers and current Red Deer College Engineering students. RDC Engineering students take a common first year and then transfer, mostly to the University of Alberta and some to the University of Calgary or other universities, where they continue in specialized programs (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.) to complete their degrees. At this point in their education, they soon have to choose their preferred specialized program and it is valuable to have the opportunity to interact with experienced engineers.
The Central Alberta APEGGA branch provides pizza and snacks for the evening. If you are interested, please email Wei Zhao (Wei.Zhao@rdc.ab.ca) by Friday February 27 in order for us to provide adequate food and beverages.
