Deadline for Nominations: March 6, 2011

Nominations* are requested from members of the Fort McMurray Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) interested in serving on the local Branch Executive in the following positions:

Chair
Vice-Chair
Treasurer
Secretary
Outreach Coordinator
Members-at-Large (limited to 10 members)

The duties of the various positions are defined in the Branch Bylaws, which may be obtained from APEGGA’s website www.apega.ca. Any member nominated for the position of Chair must have served on the Branch Executive for at least one year.

Please ensure that the individual being nominated has accepted to serve in the position and include their contact information so the committee may confirm with the individual.

In the event of an election for any position, other than Members-at-Large, the candidates would be required to make a 2-3 minute presentation at the Branch AGM which will be taking place on March 30, 2011 to inform the members of their candidacy.

Please forward the nominations to one of the following members of the nominating committee no later than March 6th, 2011. Nominees will be acknowledged by March 8th 2011. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor** at the branch AGM.
