CENTRAL ALBERTA APEGGA
STUDENT NIGHT
The Central Alberta APEGGA branch will host its annual student night
DATE: Thursday,
March 15
TIME: 6:00 pm
LOCATION: Far Side Lounge at Red Deer College,
56 ave. and 32 street,
Red Deer.
The purpose of this evening is to encourage informal
discussion amongst practicing Engineers and current Red Deer College Engineering
students. RDC
Engineering students take a common first year and then transfer, mostly to the
University of Alberta and some to the University of Calgary or other Universities,
where they continue in specialized programs (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.)
to complete their degrees.
At this point in their education, they soon
have to choose their preferred specialized program and it is valuable to have
the opportunity to interact with experienced Engineers.
The Central Alberta APEGGA branch
provides pizza and snacks for the evening. If you are able to come, please
email Brian Stackhouse (brian.stackhouse@rdc.ab.ca),
College Liaison for the CA branch.
