Carbon Capture and Sequestration in Alberta
   

CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS) has been identified as a key component of Alberta's climate change and
sustainable energy strategies. While CCS technologies have been piloted by the Alberta Research
Council and other organizations over the past 15 years, government and industry are working to
accelerate the adoption of commercial scale projects over the coming decade. This presentation will
highlight opportunities and challenges associated with the implementation of this important technology
across key sectors of Alberta's economy.
