CANCELLED

“Habitat for Humanity – Red Deer Project 2005”

As part of our Legacy Project for the Alberta centennial year, and with strong support from you, the APEGGA Central Alberta Branch members, your branch executive have been organizing and coordinating with Habitat for Humanity (Habitat) to help with their 2005 project to build four townhouses in Red Deer. The intent was to organize two days in the fall when APEGGA members would come to the building site to help construction of the townhouses.

Regrettably, due to real estate problems, the 2005 project has been cancelled.

However, Habitat fully expects these problems to be resolved by early 2006 so construction can proceed in late spring 2006. Because of the positive response from our members, your executive will continue to communicate with Habitat and arrange for workdays for our members to help with this effort. Watch for further details in 2006.
