United Way Engineering Challenge
APEGGA’s members impact everyone’s daily living, from the roads we
drive on, the bridges we cross, the water we drink, to the electricity that powers
our homes. Engineering and the geosciences are careers that aid in finding, inventing
or making things that benefit people, the community and the environment. Mr.
Young will tell us how members are making an impact in society, not just from
a technical standpoint but from a societal perspective as well. They are lending
their expertise to enhancing the lives of others by the creation of safe playgrounds
and affordable housing. Join us for this enlightening presentation.
In support of the United Way, 10 local engineering
consulting firms banded together for a community challenge in support of the
United Way. The winner of the challenge will be announced at this Branch Luncheon
and awarded the prestigious engineering challenge trophy. Each company’s United Way campaign will be
showcased and the group’s cumulative donation announced. Please join us
in celebrating our success.
