“Networks” & “Networking skills” are familiar words to anyone who has searched for a job. But, how good are you at networking? Are you aware that your networks can have a huge impact on your career path? Do you know how to start a conversation with a powerful person when at a conference or meeting? Are you shy about networking?

Join WISER for its first Speed Networking event and address some of these questions. This event will give you an opportunity to build your network and practice your networking skills. Women from all backgrounds will get a chance to speed-network with other dynamic women in science, engineering, and research from industry, government and scholarship. We will also have a speaker from CAPS start the session off with a presentation on how to network.
