An Educational Forum @ Red Deer College

Featured Speaker: Barry Worbets, Senior Fellow at the Canada West Foundation, Calgary

Cost: FREE

Open to Members and the Public

Mr. Worbets has over 25 years’ experience with the oil and gas sector where he garnered extensive experience in environmental and social governance, energy and environment policies, land and water use, sour gas, acid rain, and climate change. Mr. Worbets has a master’s degree in environmental design from the University of Calgary . He has been recognized by the Alberta Emerald Foundation for Environmental Excellence for corporate leadership. He is on the boards of several community organizations in Calgary.

The forum is jointly sponsored by Red Deer College and the Central Alberta Branch. Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is free.

This the third of a series of educational forums and lectures hosted by the Science Department at Red Deer College on topics related to a sustainable community.
