Bell Billing Letter

Dear APEGGA Member:

On June 1, 2007, Bell Mobility and APEGGA completed contract negotiations, allowing us to extend our affinity partnership for another three years into 2010. A new APEGGA member rate plan was negotiated and it’s now being offered to all APEGGA members.

Unfortunately, the recent change in default pricing created some billing errors for those members who purchased a phone under our plan between November 2004 and June 1, 2007. This caused some of you to be incorrectly charged for features included in the original APEGGA plan, as well as lose your monthly rate plan discount. Those features are call display, Touch Base and message centre.

Members who purchased under the original offer are entitled to retain these features at no additional charge, and are also entitled to the monthly rate plan discount until their individual contract expires.

Bell Mobility is researching the APEGGA account and rectifying this error. This will ensure those members who are still within their original contract continue to receive the earlier features for free, while maintaining the monthly access discount.

Credits will be applied to those members who were incorrectly charged in June and July. Those credits will appear on your September invoice.

Please note that credits will only apply to those members who are still within their original APEGGA contract. Members currently on a month-to-month term will not see adjustments.

Questions or concerns can taken to Bell Mobility’s Customer Care Team at 1-800-667-0123, press zero for a live operator, Monday to Saturday.

Visit www.apegga.org and click on “member benefits” for details of the new APEGGA member offer.

Yours truly,

Ross Plecash, P.Eng.
