Since the last APEGGA Council Meeting, the following events have taken place in the Calgary Branch:

Executive Meetings

Branch executive meetings were held on April 23, 2001. See the Meeting minutes for issues discussed.

Branch Meeting & Lunch, Fairmont Palliser Hotel

  • April 12: Dr. Nigel Shrive, P.Eng., Professor, Civil Engineering - University of Calgary presented "Biomedical Engineering".

Professional Development Seminar

April 18: Dr. George Jergeas, P.Eng., Associate Professor of Project Management - University of Calgary, presented "Fundamentals of Project Management", at The 400 Club.

APEGGA's Annual General Conference 2001

April 25-27: Held at TELUS Convention Centre and Fairmont Palliser Hotel. The theme of the conference "Beyond the Frontier," reflected the exciting, challenging and changing environments confronting the engineering and geoscience professions as they boldly step toward the future. Events included Professional Development Seminars, Summit Awards® Gala, and the Annual General Meeting.
