Since the last Branch Chairs’ Meeting, the Medicine Hat Branch has held one branch executive meeting, hosted two General Branch Meetings and participated in several outreach activities.

Branch Meetings:

• An executive meeting was held Feb. 15^th to discuss current activities for the branch, plan the March AGM and discuss the nomination platform for the 2001 Branch Executive.
• The President’s Visit was held the 27^th of February at the Officers Mess in Suffield. The evening dinner was followed by the induction of Life Members for the branch, recognition of six or more years of service as APEGGA Branch Executive members and an issues forum.
• Several branch members judged at the Regional Science Fair on March 24^th. APEGGA awards were presented to "Best in Engineering" projects for Division 4-6 and Division 7-8.
• The Branch AGM took place March 27^th in conjunction followed by a presentation from Earl Wilson, P.Eng. General Manager of the Eastern Irrigation District (EID), on the workings of the district.
• A Student Mixer was held on March 29^th at Medicine Hat College as an opportunity for the college engineering students to meet, socialize and ask questions of local engineers.

Branch Meetings:

• Branch Executive Meeting, Wednesday, May 8^th
• Award presentation for National Engineering Week Regional Winners at St. Mary’s School
• Luncheon social and presentation tentatively scheduled for late May
• 2001 Teacher Award Presentation and celebration in June
• Annual joint ASET/APEGGA Golf Tournament scheduled for August 18^th
• Plant Tour and Family Barbecue planned for September
• High School Career Fair booked for October 30^th
