APEGGA Education Foundation
The Foundation needs volunteers who have experience, skills, and time to advance its work. Most of the activities listed below can be worked on at a location and time of the personís choosing.
(Existing members are welcome to participate.)
Work with other not-for-profit organizations; selecting scholarship winners; promotion of Foundation (in Branches and other APEGGA gatherings); development of promotional materials and procedures for various kinds of planned giving; listing and qualification of potential donors; soliciting of potential donors; software knowledge to enhance our administration, including databases; and research of various topics using the Net.
The Foundation will draw from these volunteers candidates for replacement or new Foundation Member positions. Our Bylaws require Member candidates to be over 18 years of age, and to be resident in Alberta (but not necessarily members of APEGGA). The selected candidates will then require recommendation by APEGGA Council and ratification by a majority of Foundation Members.
