Provide account management and sales expertise to a high technology company involved in the design and manufacture of electronics for industrial automation, industrial device networking, data acquisition and control products.

AMC Technologies Corporation (AMC) specializes in device networking products and networking protocols for applications in the global industrial marketplace. These applications utilize the Internet, telecommunication systems, cable systems, and satellite communications to provide remote monitoring and automation solutions to a multi-billion dollar market. AMC has a portfolio of innovative technology and intellectual property.

AMC requires an experienced individual with a successful track record of sales to join our growing company as a Product Applications Engineer. The successful candidate will have a commitment to teamwork and quality and have a high level of organization in managing tasks and responsibilities. The candidate must also be able to focus on priority tasks, acquire new knowledge quickly, be creative and have good communication skills. Knowledge of device networking protocols, such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Modbus, would be an asset.

The Product Applications Engineer executes the company's product sales strategy with defined objectives for sales, volume, product mix and new accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective sales effort, including developing new customer accounts, advising customers on product adaptations and introducing new products to customers. The individual works to increase sales at existing accounts as well.

The Product Applications Engineer works with the Vice President of Business Development to conduct market analysis, including industry and competitive trends, manage existing products, develop new product definitions and launch products to the market. The candidate will also assist the Director of Marketing in developing merchandising materials and plans, including advertising, press releases, data sheets, application notes, and internet and direct mail.

BSc. in an engineering discipline or B.Comm. or a combination of appropriate education and experience is required. The position requires 3 to 5 years prior selling experience in the industrial marketplace.
