Noah Shuddered - Evidence for Large Scale Flooding in Pre-History (or Why is Alberta's Landscape the Way it is Today)

Dr. Robert Young
Earth Sciences Instructor, Grande Prairie Regional College

Dr. Young will focus on struggles that geologists encountered when they suggested a catastrophic ice-age flood which discharged across Washington State (the Scablands flood). He will also discuss how the features found may help us to interpret ice-age events that formed many of Alberta's landscapes.
