TOPIC: "Building Public Support for Your Project"

Doing business in today's world is changing. Members of the public expect, and in some cases, demand to be involved at all stages in the design and decision-making process in projects both public and private. New approaches are required to manage this new reality.

Whether public consultation for your project is a regulatory requirement from agencies such as the EUB or the NEB, or whether your company engages stakeholders as an effective way to build relationships with its communities, this luncheon presentation will get you thinking about the tools and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor consultation activities that will demonstrate your effectiveness, your ability to resolve issues and concerns earlier, and smooth the way to the successful completion of your project.

To ensure adequate seating, please pre-register with the Calgary APEGGA office at 262-7714 before Monday, November 15, 2004. The Calgary Branch accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express for tickets sold prior to the day of the event.
