In recent years, Alberta’s technical companies both hired and recruited professionals from other countries. Subsequently, some of those companies realized that challenges can arise without adequate planning for higher numbers of workers from diverse cultures. Dr. Laroche, registered as a professional engineer in Ontario and writer of two books on diversity, brings more than a decade of experience to his consultancy work in helping companies manage cultural diversity. Most workplace activities have a cultural basis, e.g. how we give feedback – Dr. Laroche’s insights can improve your bottom-line in areas of turnover, teamwork and overall efficiency and productivity.
