Scientists and Engineers-in-the Classroom Program

We are looking for your expertise

The branch is partnering with the Grande Prairie and Area Environmental Sciences Education Society to provide or facilitate multi-sensory, interactive science understandings to students. The Society is looking for individuals who are interested in occasionally volunteering their knowledge and time for the Scientists & Engineers-in-the-Classroom program (ASLA and APEGGA partnership). Your participation will help to promote science, math and technology to youth in our community. xxxxxx

The program offers FUN, curriculum based, interactive field experiences and classroom presentations and is designed to assist preschool to grade 12 teachers in science, social studies, environmental- natural resource, and outdoor education programs. xxxxx
The Society is developing resource kits for volunteers to use.
