A hearing panel of the Discipline Committee of The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) has found Michael J. Mozdzenski of Edmonton, Alberta, guilty of unskilled engineering practice and unprofessional conduct.
Pursuant to section 63 of the Engineering, Geological and Geophysical Professions Act, the Discipline Committee cancelled the member's registration as a professional engineer effective February 26, 2007. The member’s registration (license to practice) had been suspended since March 12, 2004. This notice is being published in accordance with the Discipline Committee’s orders following the member’s unsuccessful appeal of the committee’s decision.
As a member whose registration has been cancelled under the Act, Michael J. Mozdzenski may not engage in the practice of engineering nor directly or indirectly associate himself in the practice of engineering with any other professional member. The Act further stipulates that no professional member of APEGGA (including a corporate permit holder) may directly or indirectly associate with Michael J. Mozdzenski in the practice of engineering.
