On the eve, almost literally, of entering the ranks of past-presidents, APEGGA President John McLeod, P.Eng., accepts a parting gift during the Summit Awards in Edmonton, April 17. Presenting the painting of Mr. McLeod’s sailboat, which is depicted on the water near Sidney, B.C., is Past-President David Chalcroft, P.Eng., at left. Also shown are John’s wife, Carol, and their son, Richard. The moment was not a complete farewell, however — as immediate past-president, John remains on the APEGGA Executive Committee until next April.
