Use of Geophysical Instruments

APEGGA has prepared a near-final draft of a new Guideline for Use of Geophysical Instruments in Near-Surface Investigations. The document outlines those areas of practice where non-geophysicists may use geophysical instruments without violating the exclusive practice provisions for geophysics as defined in the Engineering, Geological and Geophysical Professions Act.

Before completing the final draft, the Professional Practice Department is seeking constructive comments on the document. The draft is available online at www.apegga.org.
