golf in the hat
The 12th annual Medicine Hat APEGGA/ASET golf tournament went very well this year. There were 44 golfers, a number consistent with the last few years.
Team prizes were awarded for the top three teams and one for the most honest team. Winners were Larry’s Liars, featuring Larry Osaka, P.Eng., Ron Henschel, Chris Horkoff and Raul Zalazar, P.Eng.
Second were Sheldon's Shankers, with Sheldon Dattenberger, P.Eng., Tina Dattenberger, David Panabaker, P.Eng., and John Stigter.
Doug's Do-Gooders rounded the top three — Doug Simpson, Kim Simpson, Dan Bernhart and Dave Lesko.
Most honest were Gerard's Generals — Gerard Klotz, P.Eng., Cherise Klotz, Tony Needham and Vera Needham.
With some 35 sponsors for the event, all golfers went home with a prize and some went home multi-winners. The day was capped off with an excellent meal put on by the staff at the Cottonwood Golf Course.
