"The APEGGA Council may confer Honorary Membership in the Association upon any person who, through his/her own initiative and leadership, has rendered eminent service allied with the profession resulting in the betterment of mankind through the development of new material, equipment, techniques, philosophy or management related to engineering, geology or geophysics."

Honorary Members are exempt from payment of fees, but Honorary Membership shall not per se confer the right to vote, to practice as, or to be called a Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist or Professional Geophysicist.

Persons eligible for APEGGA membership shall not be considered as candidates for this award.

There shall at no time be more than 30 Honorary Members in the Association.

REQUIREMENTS

Complete the nomination form in full and attach documents describing the nominee and his/her achievements which, in the opinion of the nominator, qualify the nominee for the award, together with such supporting evidence as the nominator may wish the Honours and Awards Committee to consider.
