VOLUNTARY SERVICE AWARD

Presented in recognition of six years of dedicated voluntary service to the affairs of the Association.

Members who have served on APEGGA Boards or Committees for six years, or who have been involved in six activities in committee work (one activity being equivalent to one year) are eligible for consideration. "One time" committees, such as Ballot Counting and Nominating Committees, should not be counted as committee activity. Considerable merit on the part of the candidate in his service to the Association is a primary consideration in selection.

Persons who have received the Charlesworth Award, have been Councilors, are Honorary Life Members, or have sat on the Board of Examiners within six years are not eligible for the Voluntary Service Award.

Candidates for this award are approved by the Honours & Awards Committee.

The awards are normally presented at District and Branch meetings.
