and university students can participate in this province wide
member program.
You must be:
 proud
of your profession and enjoy your work
interested
in talking to students about science and science
 careers
willing
to commit at least 5 hours of time to support your
profession,
Alberta youth and education
young
at heart and in spirit
You
will:
develop
speaking and presentation skills
have
fun and rewarding experiences
earn
credits for your continuing profession development program
(a maximum of 10 professional development hours may be claimed
per year)
You
can select your events and activities, including:
curriculum-related
presentations
career
presentations
booth
events
judging
at science events
interviews
and/or job shadows
development
of presentation materials/displays
Training
workshops are held regularly in Edmonton and Calgary and periodically
in APEGGA branches. You will receive support materials along
with news of events. Please join us in a worthwhile endeavour.
