Sustainability Series — Call for Articles

 

APEGGA’s Environment Committee is presenting a series of PEGG articles regarding the role of professional members in sustainability, climate change risks and adaptation.  These articles address industry specific initiatives, international initiatives, and regulatory considerations, and are meant to raise the level of awareness and spur discussion on these subjects. 

To further expand the involvement of members, the Environment Committee is calling for abstracts for future sustainability articles in The PEGG. Themes may include:

  • Geological/geophysical initiatives

  • Oil and gas initiatives

  • Mining initiatives

  • Alternative energy sources

  • Kyoto and emissions management/trading

  • Due diligence, liability, insurance

  • Urban sustainability and development.

PEGG articles must be under 1,000 words in length.
