Projex Technologies Limited – 10 Years of Engineering Solutions  


Calgary engineering firm PROJEX Technologies Ltd., is celebrating ten years of service to the heavy oil and oilsands industry.

The mid-sized company began business operations on June 20, 2000, with three employees; the company was predominately focused on plant design and 3D modeling. Today it has 140 employees with offices in Calgary and Regina.

Through its ten year history, PROJEX Technologies Ltd. has successfully completed more than 200 thermal heavy oil projects and worked with a number of exciting recovery technologies such as Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage, Cyclic Steam Stimulation, and Toe to Heel Air Injection.

During an address to employees, Barry Brad, president and CEO, PROJEX stated in a company press release that “It feels fantastic. I’m so proud of our team and all that we’ve accomplished over the years. We always knew that we could make a difference and are thankful for every client and employee that believed in us along the way. We still have a lot more we want to do and you can expect more from us in the future.”
