Suncor is implementing an Engineering Records Management System
(ERMS) based on NovaManage to store and control engineering drawings
and associated documents throughout their entire lifecycle. NovaManage
has been used as a prototype and development tool to help Suncor
define and streamline a new engineering records management process
using EDM. The application provides controlled plant-wide access
to documents throughout their entire engineering life cycle for
Suncor personnel and external contractors.
Keith Etchison is the team leader for this document management
process at Suncor in Fort McMurray.
