| We know where the industry has been and how important
it has been to the development of the province, but do we know where
it is going? Arne Nielsen has earned a reputation as a top oil finder
by discovering the giant Pembina field in 1953 for Socony-Vacuum Exploration
Co., the predecessor of Mobil Oil Canada. he went on to become Mobil
Canada's chief geologist, then its first Canadian-born president.
He is currently chairman and chief executive officer of Shiningbank
Energy Management Inc. |
