The general economic impact of materials corrosion on society
will be explored. NACE's activities in this area will also be explained
focusing on the Committee Network, publications and resources, western
regional activities, its effect on the operation and safety of petroleum
industry pipelines, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Z662),
industry education/training and current technical topics of interest
to our membership.
