National Engineering Week 1999
February 27 – March 6



Edmonton Science Olympics

Edmonton – Watch the dust fly as over 400 students vie for prizes and medals at the 1999 Edmonton Science Olympics. The one-day hands-on science competition features events like the drop of doom, robo-kicker, crazy catapults and more! Science Olympics is an annual event, sponsored by the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta that kicks off National Engineering Week in Alberta. Come down and cheer on these budding scientists!

When: Saturday, February 27,  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Shaw Conference Centre, Hall A, 9797 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton

Admission is free.

National Engineering Week is an annual public awareness event organized by the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers, Engineering Institute of Canada, Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada, Canadian Academy of Engineering, and provincial engineering and geoscience associations.
