Chris Dmytruk Joins
APEGGA Staff as Communications Director

 

 
       
 
Chrys Dmytruk, P.Eng., has been appointed APEGGA Director of Communciations and Public Affairs, effective mid-October.
 
Mr. Dmytruk was most recently senior director of the industry development division of Alberta Economic Development. Since 1973, he has held a number of positions with the department and prior to that was employed by Calanese Canada.
 
Mr. Dmytruk holds a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the University of Alberta, as well as an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
 
He has been active in a number of volunteer capacities within APEGGA - including service as a member of APEGGA Council from 1986 to 1988. In addition to serving on a number of committees, he has chaired several of them, notably Honours and Awards (1985-86), Publications and Editorial Advisory (1996-97), and Communications Planning (1997).
 
As Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Mr.Dmytruk will oversee APEGGA communications staff involved with major advertising campaigns and strategies, the organization of major events, as well as communications initiatives to inform members and the public about the Association and the professions it represents.
