Jeph
Virtue is the General Manager of Project Management for Suncor. He is the chairman
of the WorkFace Planning Committee and sits on the Best Practice Committee for
COAA (Construction Owners Association of Alberta). Jeph is currently responsible
for carrying out gate reviews for all Suncor projects including the Voyageur
mega-project and is the functional leader for all project directors/managers
at Suncor.
Mr. Virtue has also been involved in two other mega-projects: the Athabasca Oil Sands Project and the Bi-Provincial Upgrader Project. Jeph has led many smaller projects including Clean Fuel projects, refinery revamps, ethanol projects, gas plant projects, in-situ pilot projects and wind power projects. He has also worked in operations maintenance, turnaround management, manufacturing and business. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
