Teacher Award Recipient Honoured

arolyn Dyck, the 1999 recipient of the APEGGA Central Alberta Teacher Award, who now is teaching in Calgary, recently was entertained at dinner by the Central Alberta Branch.

The APEGGA Teacher Awards, traditionally announced in the summer, are presented to elementary, and to junior and senior high school teachers, who are nominated by students, colleagues and parents and who "Make School Cool" through their approach to teaching science and math. Nominations now are being accepted for the 2000 APEGGA Teacher Awards.
