Member Volunteers Wanted
for Final Three Elementary Science Nights
APEGGA Aboriginal Initiatives
Thanks to APEGGA volunteers, last week’s elementary
science night at Our Lady of Peace was a great success. This was the first
of four elementary science nights organized to support APEGGA’s Aboriginal
Initiatives program. We now need your help with the final three elementary
science nights scheduled for April and May.
Volunteering is easy, fun and rewarding.
You will help with set up and take down, and staff interactive, hands-on science
activities and demonstrations that have already been prepared. Up to 30 volunteers
are needed at each of the schools. Volunteers
should arrive by 5:00 p.m. and will be finished by 8:30 p.m. The events
are open only to school families and run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Please contact APEGGA Outreach Assistant, Lindsay
Malden, by April 5 if
you can lend your support and volunteer at one or more of the following schools.
Please provide your first and last name, e-mail address,
and a daytime telephone number.
