The Hon. Dave Hancock, Alberta Minister of Justice and Edmonton Whitemud MLA, gives a new computer lab a test run at Riverbend School. Alberta Computer Schools, which refurbishes donated, used computers for classrooms, is a not-for-profit organization.
Ross Plecash, P.Eng., APEGGA Director, Corporate and Member Affairs, chairs its board.
Riverbend principal Kathy Goudreau says the donation is a $60,000 value for the school and replaces a lab three years earlier than would otherwise be possible. “This is a dramatic improvement for us,” she said.
