The theme of the APEGGA Annual Conference, Igniting the Passion:
Shaping the World, applies to engineers, geoscientists and
their work. But how about artists? Or how about that special
breed that's both APEGGA professional and artist?
For the second consecutive year, the conference will showcase
artwork by members and their families at the Summit Awards®
Gala. This year's gala takes place Friday, April 25, in the
Macleod Halls of Calgary's TELUS Convention Centre.
Sculptor and painter Sharon Ellingsen, P.Eng., showed her
work at the awards in Edmonton, last year, and the Calgarian
plans to take part again this year. To find out more about
