Two renowned experts will present fascinating information
on the tsunami phenomenon, Oct. 29 in Calgary - covering everything
from the earthquakes that trigger tsunamis to the destruction
they cause.
The Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists Educational Trust
Fund, the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists and

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
in Seattle. Among many accolades, he is a noted oceanographer
and an expert on tsunamis.
Joining him in the annual Honorary Address will be Dr.
Garry Rogers, a research scientist at the Geological Survey
of Canada.
Dr. Rogers is a renowned lecturer and expert on earthquakes
in Western Canada.
The main address will be on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6:30
to 9 p.m. at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in
Calgary.

in this opportunity for students to discover the exciting
