APEGA is pleased to announce that all members wishing to write the APEGA Technical Examinations, NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination, ASBOG Fundamentals of Geology (FG) Examination and the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) will now be able to apply for exam by accessing their Member Self-Service Centre accounts.
If you have not received your assessment from APEGA’s Board of Examiners, you might not be required to write the APEGA Technical Examinations, Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination or the Fundamentals of Geology (FG) Examination. All active applicants and members are eligible to write the these exams proactively, but you might want to wait until you have received the Board of Examiners’ decision so you know what exams, if any, you need to write.

NATIONAL
PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE EXAMINATION
Successful self governance begins with
the roles, ethics and obligations professional must meet. For that reason, an
applicant must successfully complete the Professional Practice Exam
before becoming a Professional Member or Foreign Licensee.
TECHNICAL EXAMINATIONS
Applicants who graduated from non-accredited
programs may be required to write technical exams to confirm their knowledge
in various areas. The actual exams you write will depend on your situation.
FUNDAMENTALS
OF GEOLOGY (FG) EXAMINATION
The Fundamentals of Geology (FG) Examination is developed by the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG®) to assess the qualifications of applicants seeking licensure as professional geologists in over 25 North American jurisdictions.
FUNDAMENTALS
OF ENGINEERING (FE) EXAMINATION
APEGA offers the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination in Calgary and Edmonton.
PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF ENGINEERING
(PE) EXAMINATION
Beginning in October of 2009, APEGA will offer the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination in Edmonton only.
SE EXAMINATION
APEGA now offers the SE Examination.
