has about 6,000 Members-in-Training (MITs). Members-in-Training are
those individuals who have met the academic requirements and now require four
(4) years of acceptable experience to qualify for registration.

for registration and in broadening the base on which they will build their careers.

GUIDELINE
The
guideline is essential to MITs' understanding of the Board of Examiners' expectations
once the academic requirements have been met. It details the experience criteria
for licensure, suggested reporting forms and examples of how to complete the
reporting forms.
REGISTRATION
FOR ENGINEERS-IN-TRAINING
Individuals eligible to register as a
Member-in-Training (MIT) do so as either an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) .
Their goal is then to meet qualification requirements.

Individuals eligible to register as a Member-in-Training
(MIT) do so as a Geoscientist-in-Training
(G.I.T). Their goal is meet qualification
requirements.
