engineering. Mr. Putz, a senior engineering consultant with

receive the designation. The system, which allows qualified
technologists to work within a limited scope of practice in

from the software giant could find themselves in hot water.
Microsoft Canada has said the technicians can call themselves
engineers. If they do so, APEGGA and other provincial/territorial
associations will be obligated to protect the title and the
public by seeking remedies through the courts.
