SHIRAZ KANJI

Shiraz Kanji is currently the Bridge Engineer with the Transportation Department of the City of Edmonton. His responsibility is to manage the City’s Bridge Inventory and to provide technical expertise to the Design and Construction Sections of the Transportation Department.

Prior to joining the City of Edmonton, Shiraz worked as a Bridge Design Engineer for consulting firms in Nairobi, Winnipeg and Edmonton. Shiraz is an active member of APEGGA and presently serves on the Edmonton Branch Executive and on the Honours and Awards Committee. He is also a member of the Transportation Association of Canada’s Structural Standing Committee.
